THE SHOUT-OUT 2011
WILL THERE BE A SHOUT OUT THIS YEAR THAT IS THE QUESTION?
A popular tradition at the Brooklyn Blogfest in past years, the Shout-Out was and is a chance to announce your blog to the world. Last year an actor cleverly rapped the names of all the attending blogs.
So this year we're not sure if we'll have time on the program for all the bloggers who want to come up and "do the Shout-Out."
Here are the rules if we do decide to do it.
If you started a blog since the last blogfest (or you've never done a shout-out) you are invited to line up at the open mic and spread the word about your blog. There are, however, a few important rules.
1. If you started a blog since the last Blogfest or you've never done a shout-out at Blogfest you may do a shout-out.
2. Provide a very succinct description (in five brief sentences or less) of what your blog is about.
3. Don't forget to say the name of your blog and your URL.
4. Exit the stage swiftly.
5. The M.C. has the right to ask you to leave the stage if you have exceeded the time limit.
